The Great Chesapeake Bay
We are located on the Great Chesapeake Bay, middle way of the East Coast of the United States of America. Our home town Princess Anne, Somerset Co., Maryland is reprsented by the green dot on the image. Crisfield, Somers Cove Marina is represented by the red dot. Deal Island, Wenona harbor is represented by the blue dot. We fish in the lower half of the Bay, departing from Wenona and Crisfield at different times of the year. The Atlantic Ocean is on the right side of the image. The middle area is known as the DELMARVA PENINSULA made up of parts of Maryland, Virgina and all of the State of Delaware. The famous Captain John Smith explored this bay in 1608 and reported that fish were so abundent that he attempted to catch them in a frying pan, which proved not to be a good instrument for taking fish.
